A private open day was organised for the Farm Machinery Preservation Society on Wednesday August 1st 2024. They had a very enjoyable day learning about the history of the mill, having a guided tour of the mill, hearing about the history of the restored Ruston Hornsby engine and seeing it operate and watching the video of the actual restoration of the mill.
Afterwards they were treated to a visit to our next door neighbour who has a wide collection of tractors and farm implements and tools

Like other groups who have private tours they finished their day with with teas and coffees and a selection of cakes made by Wild Rose Kitchen of Thelnetham
